The HUF HAUS City Living project is a multi-storey and forward thinking design concept established in the city of Montabaur, Germany. The concept has been realised to match the high demands of energy efficiency while integrating the latest technologies harmoniously into the construction.
HUF City Living opens its doors
Georg Huf welcomed over 100 guests to the opening celebrations for the remarkable HUF City Living project.
HUF architects have much experience in commercial construction design, with a design portfolio to include office buildings and retirement homes. The architectural principle appointed in these commercial designs was adapted to a multi-storey concept with 44 residential units.
HUF HAUS launches first UK Show House
HUF HAUS, the company who pioneered high-end pre-manufactured timber and glass homes, is launching the company’s first ever UK show house, which is located at Brooklands, Weybridge, Surrey.

The charitable project "hospice St. Thomas" was designed and realised by HUF HAUS.

Ten years of cooperation with GO21
In September the Sport and Health Center "Go21" celebrated its 10th anniversary. As part of the celebrations marking the anniversary the team organised a Thomas Huf memorial walk to gather donations for the charitable hospice St. Thomas in Dernbach, Germany.

2016HUF HAUS opens first show houses in Romania
HUF HAUS entered the Romanian market, by opening its first two show houses near Bucharest. “The Romanian market has a great potential in acknowledging the quality and innovative technology of a HUF house. HUF HAUS celebrates 15th anniversary of HUF HAUS Finanzierungsservice
A good reason to celebrate: There have been more than 1.000 happy HUF House owners in the past 15 years that benefited from an individual financing concept made by the HUF HAUS Finanzierungsservice. In Germany, around 80 % of all HUF clients use this service to get the best financing conditions.
Platinum for HUF HAUS
HUF HAUS, the pioneer of bespoke, pre-manufactured homes, has set a new benchmark in sustainable construction, with a brand new accreditation from the German Sustainable Building Council or DGNB – the first award of its kind to be granted in the UK.
As recipients of a Platinum certification from the DGNB for its UK show house – Riverview in Weybridge, Surrey, HUF HAUS has received the highest possible recognition for its commitment to designing and building eco-conscious homes that offer residents the opportunity to live carbon neutral lifestyles. Going forward, every Huf House that leaves the factory in Germany will be credited with a Gold certification; however, a Platinum certification can be sought on a case by case basis through further application to, and assessment by, the DGNB.
Topping-out ceremony for new Show House in Mannheim
A new Show house will be opened in May 2017 in the Show House Exhibition in Mannheim, Germany. The flat-roof building was designed by Alexander Huf, the fourth generation of the HUF family.
Happy Birthday - Franz Huf celebrates 90th birthday
Franz Huf was born 90 years ago and celebrated his anniversary together with friends and family in Hartenfels.

HUF HAUS presents the first self learning house
The cooperation between HUF HAUS and IBM culminated in the presentation of the new show house "Ausblick", which was officially opened on 23 May 2018 in the middle of the HUF Village in Hartenfels. The filigree bungalow made of wood and glass was designed as a self-learning house in cooperation with IBM.

HUF HAUS announces market entry in Belgium
In recent years, prefabricated construction has also gained popularity in Belgium. Until now, it has been mainly local players who have dominated the housing market. But that will soon change: The German company HUF HAUS, a pioneer in high-quality prefabricated wood and glass houses, is stepping up its activities on the Belgian market. Having already successfully established the HUF brand in several European countries, the family business is now keeping an eye on Belgium with the aim of turning the construction industry upside down. In addition to participating in the Batibouw, the largest Belgian construction trade fair, the company is represented by two consultants who also built the first HUF House MODUM in Belgium.

HUF HAUS – The Next Generation
In the spring of 2021, after a quarter of a century heading the company, CEO Georg Huf shall be stepping down from the role of Managing Director and all its duties. He will entrust this revered role to a partnership of his son Benedikt Huf and nephew Christian Huf who follow their Fathers’, Grandfathers’, and Great Grandfathers’ footsteps navigating the successful operation of their company.
